Nice vid! I like seeing educated people on here. There are some retards who just give bad information, like your “I spent one week and got PT cert”. I say “that’s nice, i spent 4 years and 80 grand
” but 100% agree.
@SK8AZEVERYDAY And yes I am aware that you burn calories at rest as measured by Basal Metabolic Rate, but metabolism is higher the first half of the day and post-workout (and stays elevated with small snacks) and much lower at the end of the day and at rest so eating patterns should take advantage of this fact instead of working against it. Thus the front-loading of calories and splitting up meals is quite valid
@SK8AZEVERYDAY Yes total daily calories is huge, but timing and division of calories is critical too. If it was ONLY about quantity as you say, then it would be fine to take in 1500 or 2000 calories in one sitting, once per day. It is a COMBINATION of total calories in vs. total calories utilized, but timing and division of calories (and types of calories for that matter) that also effect the “calories utilized by your body” side of the equation. Good point though, quantity is key overall
@KaeruthePaladin No steroid crap for me, never have and never will!
@Kolashov
That can be true, but the thing is mike is ripped and strong lol. He just isn’t one of those steroid monsters.
I agree that it’s smarter to space out your meals, but if you consume 2000 cals a day to cut/lose weight divided into six small meals it will not give you any advantage in terms of weight loss or a calorie deficit than if you were to have 1500 cals later in the day and 500 in the morning.
@Kolashov Good points my friend!
hi iam 19 teen nd iam 6ft nd 132 lbs…how to gain sme weight any supplement oe smething
@flukebullet1987 Snacking at work is the way to go! Thanks for watching!
@SK8AZEVERYDAY That is true to an extent but way too simplistic, there are so many other factors that go into metabolism that timing and amounts of food absolutely DO MATTER
@stryker4750 Watch my other videos and take a look at my credentials before you make uneducated statements.
@Kolashov In short : eating healthy foods and sleeping at good hours DO make you stronger , however if you aint got the right genes , it won’t do crap. So if you think mike looks weak and therefore a bad trainer , review all this shit i said. =]
Also : you didn’t look at the pictures in his intro clip…. The dude is pretty ripped.
@Kolashov how much muscle mass you have depends for a HUGE part on your genes / hormones. I have a friend who works out as much as me and sleeps / eats well , yet the guy is skinny as FUCK. I myself sleep at late hours ,don’t take breakfast , and i eat like 50 % of all my food at night before i go to bed. Yet I look way more muscular then him. (not bragging here , or maybe a lil 8] ) This is mainly because i come from a long line of mineworkers and men who carried loads of ships at the docks
@stryker4750
His knowledge on gaining muscle and working out is not defined by how he himself looks.
Just like an architect knows very well how a house is build , he probably can’t make a straight wall.
(dunno if that’s a good example but ye get mah point xd)
sorry man but doesn’t matter when you eat your calories, just matters how many at the end of the day. calories in vs calories out. your body burns calories at rest by the way as well.
@stryker4750 Yo get outta here with that non sense. The man has informative videos in which he is lending advice to help those who want it.
id like to listen to you but dude ? are you big ? are you ripped ? are ou strong ? are you fast ? No.
i have to sneak food in at work
thanks 4 all the advice mike
Mike… will you relax man!
